Fastweb Educators Program: Help Students Find Scholarships
At Fastweb, we know that Educators work hard to help students succeed both in and outside of the classroom, whether that’s through academic instruction, extracurricular leadership, or college search guidance and recommendations. We also know that Educators want to pass on the best information possible to their students, especially as it relates to available scholarship opportunities, financial aid trends, and the college search. That’s why we created the Fastweb Educators Program. The Fastweb Educators Program serves as a resource for school counselors, other educators and their students. Through this program, you can successfully engage with your students during their scholarship search and college search processes. From annually printed materials to regular email updates, we’ll provide everything you need to keep your students knowledgeable. Just as you love to help your students and keep them informed, we love to come alongside you as a knowledgeable, reputable source. Check out all of the ways we’re here for you:

Printed Materials

Each year, Fastweb provides useful materials, free of charge, to Educators. These include student handouts, posters, and our popular, Quick Reference Guide. We begin shipping printed materials in the Fall and continue throughout the school year. You can order printed materials from our Educator home page and download all materials from our Educator Resources page. The Fastweb Quick Reference Guide features important dates, scholarship winning tips and tricks, and resources for students and educators. There are individualized Quick Reference Guides available to high school students, college students, high school educators and college educators. Additionally, Fastweb has a vast library of online educator resources that are free to print off and distribute throughout the year. These include helpful handouts as well as PowerPoint presentations. Preorder 2020 - 21 Printed Materials now.

Fastweb’s Listbuilder

With our innovative Listbuilder, Educators can search and send scholarships directly to their students. To utilize this feature, Educators must create an Educator account on Fastweb, which is completely free. To use the Fastweb Listbuilder, Educators simply log in and create customized scholarship lists, based on their students’ interests and attributes. Once the list has been generated, Educators can send to students via email or through social media platforms, like Facebook and Twitter. To begin using Fastweb Listbuilder, click here.

Monthly Email Updates

As a Fastweb Educator Member, you will receive access to our monthly Educator emails in addition to Printed Materials and the Fastweb Listbuilder. These emails include updates on scholarship and financial aid trends as well as exclusive offers and products for Fastweb Members. Sign up for monthly Educator emails here.

Fastweb’s New Financial Aid Center

Our new Financial Aid section provides a comprehensive look at the financial aid process for students, parents and even educators. Not only do we summarize what types of financial aid are available to students, we also highlight what makes students eligible as well as how to apply. Additionally, we have provided every financial aid deadline by state for the academic year for which students are applying. If students still need help bridging the gap between what they can afford to pay and their financial aid package, we have a Student Loan section to help students find the best private student loan for their needs and qualifications.

Visit Us at National Conferences

Our Educator team at Fastweb loves meeting with Educators one-on-one to share exciting updates to our scholarship search service and to receive feedback on our offerings. The best way to meet with us is at national and regional education and financial aid conferences. You can typically find us at National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA), GearUP, International Association for College Admission Counseling (ACAC), National Council for Community and Education Partnerships (NCCEP), and American Counseling Association (ACA) conferences. NOTE: In light of the Coronavirus Pandemic, many 2020 conferences have been cancelled or moved to a virtual platform. Fastweb will not be attending any in-person conferences for the remainder of 2020.

Fastweb’s 25th Anniversary

This year, Fastweb celebrated a major milestone: 25 years of helping students find scholarships for college. One of our “fun facts” is that we were the first ever scholarship search website created. Over the years, we have evolved from being “just” a scholarship search matching service to a one-stop shop for students seeking advice on maximizing financial aid eligibility, filling out the FAFSA, college application do’s and don’ts, part-time jobs and student life trends. Today, our database features over 1.5 million scholarships worth over $3.4 billion, and we’ve helped over 50 million students achieve their college dream by offering a simplified college scholarship search. In the next 25 years, we hope to stay connected to students, offer even more opportunities and give students greater access to the scholarship search and winning processes with products like the ListBuilder and our mobile app.
