The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Minority Ph.D. Scholarship is open to African-American, American Indian and Latino men and women who are beginning their doctoral work in engineering, natural science and mathematics. You must be accepted in a recognized program supported by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Selection is based on faculty recommendation, appropriate field of study and financial need. The program provides financial, mentoring and guidance support to eligible doctoral candidates.
