The CFDA x Crystal Bridges Heartland Scholar Award is available to junior-level undergraduate and first-year graduate students who are who are enrolled in a fashion design program at an American college or university. To be considered for this award, you must have been born in, been a resident for five years of, or studying in, a "heartland state". This includes Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Texas.
