Description
The Kay Longcope Scholarship is available to LGBT students of color with an interest in a career in journalism. You must demonstrate a strong commitment to journalism and the issues facing the LGBT community to be eligible for this award. Graduate students must be enrolled in a journalism program; undergraduate students should have an interest in journalism or communications through major enrollment or show commitment to journalism in other areas of study. Selection is based on strong academic attendance, resume, and a multimedia news story submission that is published to an online hosting site.
