Indian American Cultural Association
The Indian American Scholarship Fund - Georgia Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are residents of Georgia. To be considered for this award, you must be of Indian heritage (one or both parents or grandparents from the present-day India; for purposes of these scholarships, citizens of Pakistan and Bangladesh are not included). You must also provide proof of full-time admission to a four-year college, official school transcripts, SAT/ACT score reports and resume, verified by the counselor's office. As a FastWeb user who completes an online application, the Indian American Cultural Association will waive the processing fee it usually charges. This scholarship includes: the Bhatia Millennium Award ($1250 per year for four years, based on financial need); the Jagmohandas Bapalal Shah Award (presented to you if you have the highest SAT score); and the Paras Shah Memorial Award (considers athletic, leadership, extracurricular and service activities). Non-IACA members who are awarded scholarships are required to become members.
