Description

The Akron Zoo Sustainability Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students who would like to pursue a career in conservation, sustainability, environmental protection, the zoo and aquarium field, or another non-profit organization. To be considered for this internship, you should posses strong communication skills, be organized, have experience with Microsoft Word and basic design, and be able to relate to a wide variety of individuals. As an intern, you will learn and participate in the zoo’s Sustainability Master Plan. The Akron Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and is a demonstrated leader in sustainable operations. This internship is located in Akron, OH, and runs for one year.
