Description

The Ben Hill Griffin Inc., Cinco de Mayo Scholarship is available to students at South Florida Community College. You must be a graduating senior from Hardee, Lake Placid, DeSoto, Ft. Mead, Sebring, Frostproof or Avon high schools with a GPA of at least 3.0 who has been accepted for full-time enrollment at SFCC. You must be the direct descendant of a Mexican farm-working family to be eligible for this award. You must also demonstrate financial need and commit to a minimum of 20 hours of community service at the Sonshine House of Avon Park.
