Mae Rachel Freeman Scholarship

Description

The Mae Rachel Freeman Scholarship is available to full- time students at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. You must demonstrate an interest in African- American heritage, leadership qualities and a record of community service to be eligible for this award. You must be a graduate of a high school in one of the following counties: New Hanover, Bladen, Pender, Columbus, Onslow, Brunswick, Sampson or Duplin. The recipient of this award will be expected to have researched information concerning Mae Rachel Freeman and her contributions to the community.
