California Freethought Day Video Scholarship

Description

The California Freethought Day Video Scholarship is available to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students who are residents of the United States. Applicants must plan to pursue (or are currently pursuing) postsecondary education at a community college, four-year college, trade school, or vocational school. To be considered for this award, you must submit a social media entry (tweet, reels, etc.) with a video in the form of a public service announcement (PSA) discussing the following topic: "How can our nation truly offer liberty and justice for all?". To qualify, applicants must create a public post that responds to the above prompt and share it on either Threads, X (Twitter), Instagram, or TikTok, tagging us (@FreethoughtDay) and using the hashtag #ScholarshipPSA. The entry must be in the form of a video (live-action or animated) between 30-60 seconds in length.
