Description
The Paul A. Whelan Scholarship is available to sophomore-level and above students who are enrolled in an aviation or space-related major at a UAA member institution. To be considered for this award, you must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, be a U.S. citizen, demonstrate a love of aviation, show leadership, and have community or extracurricular involvement. Preference will be given to students who have FAA certification as a pilot or mechanic, former military service or current military service via active duty while in school. or membership in an aviation-related association or professional group such as the UAA.
