The Mental Health America of Tarrant County Scholarship is available to students pursuing careers in the field of mental health and wellness. To be considered for this award, you must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of Tarrant County, Texas. Preference will be given to students with a GPA of 3.0 and higher. Selection is based on a 200 - 400-word essay on any personal, professional, academic, or volunteer experiences you have had experience with related to mental/behavioral health issues and how this has shaped your life and/or career choices.
