John and Hester Slocum Scholarship

Description

The John and Hester Slocum Scholarship is available to students at Louisiana State University, School of Library and Information Science. You must be a resident of the New Orleans area and submit a written statement of your career objectives to be eligible for this award. Applicants who have not yet been admitted to the MLIS program must present two letters of reference from persons who are knowledgeable of your character, education, and ability; or, if employed in a library, a letter of recommendation from the library director.
