Hartford Jazz Society Merit Scholarship

The Hartford Jazz Society Merit Scholarship is available to high school seniors residing in the Connecticut Capitol Region. You must be planning to major in music with an interest in jazz at a four - year college / university to be eligible for this award. Deadline: 6/1/23
Available to: High School Seniors
Award Amount: $1,000 - $3,000

Musical Arts Scholarship

The Musical Arts Scholarship is available to full - time students between the ages of 17 and 24. You must be studying music as a major or minor and submit a performance video to be eligible for this award. Deadline: 6/15/23
Available to: Ages 17 through 24
Award Amount: $10,000

Nat Lathrop Music Scholarship

The Nat Lathrop Music Scholarship is available to students between the ages of eight and 18 who have been diagnosed with hemophilia B or is the sibling of a person diagnosed with hemophilia B. You must be pursuing an interest to be eligible for this award. Deadline: 7/6/23
Available to: Ages 18 and under

Musicianship Scholarship

The Musicianship Scholarship is available to students attending the Musicians Institute. You must be enrolled in an instrumental performance or composition program to be eligible for this award. International students may apply. Deadline: 9/1/23
Available to: Undergraduate Students
Award Amount: $1,000 - $2,000

Sphinx Competition

The Sphinx Competition is open to Black and Latinx classical string players under the age of 30. To be considered, you must submit a video audition in one of the following categories: violin, viola, cello, or double bass. Deadline: 10/23/23
Available to: Ages 30 and under
Award Amount: $3,000 - $50,000

Marine Band Concerto Competition

The Marine Band Concerto Competition is open to high school students. You must be a string, piano, or harp player and be a U.S citizen to be eligible for this award. The recipient of this award will also appear as a guest soloist with the Marine Chamber Orchestra during the 2024 concert season. Deadline: 11/15/23

Award Amount: $500 - $2,500

Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award

The Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award is available to students between the ages of eight and 18 who demonstrate exceptional musical ability. You must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need to be eligible for this award. Deadline: Varies
Available to: Maximum age, 18
Award Amount: $10,000

Berklee College of Music Presidential Scholarship

The Berklee College of Music Presidential Scholarship is available to entering freshmen at Berklee College of Music. You must demonstrate high musical merit and financial need to be considered for this award. This award also covers on - campus housing, the meal plan, a laptop, software, and the comprehensive fee. Deadline: Varies
Available to: High School Seniors
Award Amount: Full-Tuition
