This does not only includes service members, but their spouses and family members as well, who make unimaginable sacrifices so that their loved ones can keep our country safe and protect the freedoms we hold dear. As thanks to all of these heroes - for those who serve within the military or are affiliated with military service members - both your country and scholarship providers are willing to provide funding for your educational goals.

The Paralyzed Veterans of America Educational Scholarship is available to currently enrolled college students. The National Veteran Achievement Program is open to current service members and veterans who are enrolled in an accredited Associates, Bachelor's, nursing, or graduate degree program. To be considered, you must submit a 500 - to 750 - word essay on the following topic: "How will your military experience help you pursue your career goals?" NERA/USAA College Scholarship

Available to: Undergraduate & Graduate Students
Award Amount: $2,000 The NERA/USAA College Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students. To be eligible, you must be a currently serving reserve, active, or IRR member of the United States Armed Forces; be a dependent of someone currently serving in the United States Armed Forces; or be a spouse, son, daughter, or grandchild sponsored by a current NERA member. Award Amount: Full - Tuition
The LNVB Retroactive Scholarship is available to veterans who have completed some form of higher education. To be eligible, you must have student loans that have been made because you were not covered under existing educational programs. Recipients of this award must commit to 100 to 400 hours of community service that leverages their military skills, civilian education, and lack of indebtedness to help solve the most pressing issues facing their communities. F. Edward Hébert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program

Available to: Graduate Students
Award Amount: Full - Tuition
The F. Edward Hébert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program is available to commissioned officers who are enrolled full - time in an accredited medical, dental, veterinary, specialty nurse, psychology, or optometry program in the U.S. or Puerto Rico. You must be a U.S. citizen and hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited school to be eligible for this award.
