There are endless opportunities for awaiting active duty men and women, those honorably discharged, military veterans, as well as spouses and children of military service members.
Military service members don't need a reason to be celebrated – their service to America is an exceptional act of selfless, heroic bravery and deserves to be revered as such. This does not only includes service members, but their spouses and family members as well, who make unimaginable sacrifices so that their loved ones can keep our country safe and protect the freedoms we hold dear. As thanks to all of these heroes - for those who serve within the military or are affiliated with military service members - both your country and scholarship providers are willing to provide funding for your educational goals.
There are endless opportunities for awaiting active duty men and women, those honorably discharged, military veterans, as well as spouses and children of military service members. These scholarships exist to help fund your educational goals, whether you’re looking to pursue a more civilian route or looking to gain more education and continue to pursue your military experience, ultimately moving up in the ranks. USAC Military Service Scholarship

Available to: Undergraduate Students

The USAC Military Service Scholarship is available to degree - seeking students who are U.S. Military Personnel (active or veteran status) and their dependents (child or spouse). You must have a minimum 2.5 GPA to be eligible for this award.

CCME Veteran Scholarship

Deadline: 10/15/23
Available to: Undergraduate & Graduate Students
Award Amount: Varies
The CCME Veteran Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students who are prior uniformed service members. To be eligible, you must submit a 450 - to 700 - word essay describing your academic journey and achievements and how you plan to use your education to positively impact change in your area of study or industry of work.

Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship

Deadline: 11/1/23
Available to: Undergraduate & Graduate Students
Award Amount: Varies
The Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship is available to members of the armed forces who have been wounded or injured in a combat or training related event post - 9/11. You must be enrolled full - time in a post - secondary or vocational program to be eligible for this award.

Journey to Serve Scholarship

Deadline: 11/1/23
Available to: Minimum age, 18
Award Amount: $5,000
The Journey to Serve Scholarship is available to military veterans who are 18 years of age or older. You must be enrolled in a funeral service program to be eligible for this award.

Sport Clips Help a Hero Scholarship

Deadline: 11/15/23
Available to: Undergraduate & Graduate Students
Award Amount: $5,000
The Sport Clips Help a Hero Scholarship is available to service members and veterans. You must have completed Basic Training and follow - on training, hold a military rank of E-5 or below, and be separated with or currently hold a military rank of E-5 or below to be eligible for this award.

Leadership Essay Contest

Deadline: 11/30/23
Available to: Undergraduate & Graduate Students
Award Amount: $5,000
The Leadership Essay Contest is available to junior officers from the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. You must write a maximum 2,000 - word essay on any subject related to the roles of leadership and character in America's Sea Services to be considered for this award.

NorthAmerican.com Military Scholarship Competition

Deadline: 12/15/23
Available to: High School Seniors & Undergraduate Students
Award Amount: $1,000
The NorthAmerican.com Military Scholarship Competition is open to current and former active duty military and their dependents. You must be majoring in military logistics, supply chain management, or operational management to be eligible for this award.

Allied Military Scholarship Competition

Deadline: 12/15/23
Available to: Undergraduate Students
Award Amount: $1,000
The Allied Military Scholarship Competition is available to full - time undergraduate students who are working toward a degree in logistics / supply chain management. You must be a current or honorably discharged military member, or be the child or spouse of an active or honorably discharged military member, to be eligible for this award. A 400 - to 800 - word essay is also required.

Army Aviation Association of America Foundation Scholarship

Deadline: 12/15/23
Available to: Undergraduate & Graduate Students
Award Amount: Varies
The Army Aviation Association of America Foundation Scholarship is available to members of AAAA and their spouses; and the unmarried sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, or grandchildren of AAAA members. You must be attending an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university in the fall to be eligible for this award. Selection is based on academic merit and personal achievement.

Military College Scholarship

Deadline: 12/31/23
Available to: Undergraduate & Graduate Students
Award Amount: $1,250
The Military College Scholarship is available to military students. You must be retired or separated from service under honorable conditions, currently serving active duty in any branch of the Armed Forces, or be the child of an active - duty servicemember serving in any branch of the Armed Forces to be eligible for this award.

LNVB Retroactive Scholarship

Deadline: Varies
Available to: College Graduates
Award Amount: Full - Tuition
The LNVB Retroactive Scholarship is available to veterans who have completed some form of higher education. To be eligible, you must have student loans that have been made because you were not covered under existing educational programs. Recipients of this award must commit to 100 to 400 hours of community service that leverages their military skills, civilian education, and lack of indebtedness to help solve the most pressing issues facing their communities.

F. Edward Hébert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program

Deadline: Varies
Available to: Graduate Students
Award Amount: Full - Tuition
The F. Edward Hébert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program is available to commissioned officers who are enrolled full - time in an accredited medical, dental, veterinary, specialty nurse, psychology, or optometry program in the U.S. or Puerto Rico. You must be a U.S. citizen and hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited school to be eligible for this award. Recipients of this award will also receive a $20,000 sign - on bonus, a $2,000 monthly stipend, and a monthly allowance for food and housing.
