It’s that time again! You’re heading back to school, but do you know how you’re going to pay for it? Scholarships can help.

Find scholarships to help you head back to school without the worries of tuition looming over you. The following list includes scholarships with deadlines throughout this semester, so you can keep applying for awards all semester long.

Students of all ages can apply now to qualify for some scholarship funding from these scholarship providers:

ScholarshipPoints $10,000 Scholarship

Deadline: 9/15/17
Available to: High School Juniors through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $10,000

ScholarshipPoints will award a $10,000 scholarship to one lucky member this quarter. All you have to do to become eligible is become a ScholarshipPoints member and log in. It’s simple, fun, and completely free!

Staples for Students Sweepstakes

Deadline: 9/16/17
Available to: Ages 13+
Award Amount: $50,000

The Staples for Students Sweepstakes is open to students who are at least 13 years of age and are residents of the U.S. To be considered for this award, you must visit a participating Staples location and make a purchase of at least $25 to receive a unique code which will serve as your entry into the sweepstakes. If you do not wish to make a purchase in order to generate an entry, you may also enter the sweepstakes by visiting the sponsor’s website and obtaining a unique entry code there.

One grand prize winner will win the scholarship and a trip for two to attend the Lady Gaga Joanne World Tour on December 16th, 2017 in Las Vegas. Please see the Sponsor’s website for additional information.

Siemens Competition

Deadline: 9/19/17
Available to: High School Freshmen through High School Seniors
Award Amount: 60 Awards from $1,000 – $100,000

The Siemens Competition is open to high school students. Students are encouraged to do research in mathematics, engineering, biological, or physical science. Students, working individually or on a team of two or three, will have the opportunity to present their research to leading scientists in their field. Three hundred projects are recognized as semifinalists. Regional finalists are awarded a trip to compete at one of six regional competitions. At the regional event, students will present a Powerpoint presentation and digital poster, and participate in a question and answer session. Individuals submitting projects must be seniors at the time of the deadline; team applicants may be freshman, sophomores, juniors, or seniors.

$5,000 Fall 2017 Scholarship

Deadline: 9/30/17
Available to: High School Freshman – Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $5,000

Get up to $5,000 in just 3-steps! Winners will be chosen based on a 150 word, short-answer response, so be creative!

Build U. Scholarship

Deadline: 11/01/17
Available to: Ages 18+
Award Amount: $2,500

The Build U. Scholarship is available to product design, interaction design, engineering, and computer science students. To be considered, you must submit a 1000 word essay on the following topic: “Which company or organization (other than Buildium) you think best exemplifies one of the above core values and how?”

$2,000 Disaster Preparation Scholarship

Deadline: 11/01/17
Available to: High School Freshmen through College Seniors
Award Amount: 3 Awards of $2,000

The $2,000 Disaster Preparation Scholarship is open to current high school and college students. You must create a video that shows how properly planning for a hurricane or other flood disaster can be a valuable tool and upload it to YouTube in order to be considered for this award.

Tutor the People Essay Scholarship

Deadline: 12/15/17
Available to: High School Juniors through College Seniors
Award Amount: $1,000

The Tutor the People Essay Scholarship is open to current high school seniors and undergraduate students attending an institution in the United States. You must be at least 16 years of age, be in good academic standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and submit a 500 to 1,000 word personal response to the prompt on the sponsor’s website in order to qualify for this award.

Young Scholars Scholarship

Deadline: 12/31/17
Available to: Maximum Age 30 Years
Award Amount: 5 Awards of $2,000

The Young Scholars Scholarship is open to undergraduate students who are under the age of 30. You must be a U.S. citizen and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in order to be considered for this award.

One Earth Young Filmmakers Contest

Deadline: 1/14/18
Available to: High School Freshmen through College Seniors
Award Amount: 4 Awards from $75 – $1,000

The One Earth Young Filmmakers Contest is open to students who are at least eight years of age. You must submit a video between three and eight minutes that shares and highlights solutions to the issues discussed in the chosen sustainability topic(s) chosen from the list on the sponsor’s website.

The film entry’s theme must be solution-based. The film should talk about an environmental/sustainability problem and then discuss what could be a potential solution to this problem. Videos may be submitted by either an individual or a group and animated videos of no more than 45 seconds will also be considered.

American Legion National High School Oratorical Contest

Deadline: Varies
Available to: High School Freshmen through High School Senior
Award Amount : $18,000

Provided by The American Legion, the National High School Oratorical Contest is open to junior high and high school students who are under the age of 20 and citizens or lawful permanent residents of the United States.

You must prepare an oration on some aspect of the U.S. Constitution, with some emphasis on the duties and obligations of citizens to our government.

Each individual state winner certified into and participating in the first round of the national contest receives an additional $1,500 scholarship.

CKSF Scholarship Competition

Deadline: Varies
Available to: High School Seniors through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $2,500

The CKSF Scholarships are available to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students in the U.S. You must register to participate in scholarship quizzes that test your knowledge of topics ranging from general “common knowledge” to specific academic subjects, books, websites, and even movies.

You will be scored based on a combination of time and accuracy.

Students with the highest scores at the end of each competition win.

The Prom Pics Contest is open to high school students. To be eligible, you must submit a high resolution photo from your prom event. Prizes will be awarded in each of the following categories: promposal, pre – prom, prom dance, and post – prom.

The Optimist International Oratorical Contest is open to students under the age of 19.

To be considered for this award, you must prepare a 4 to 5 minute speech on the topic, “How My Passions Impact the World” to be presented at your local Optimist Club’s contest.

The Spirit of Anne Frank Scholarship

Available to: College Freshmen
Award Amount: 5 Awards from $5,000-$10,000

The Spirit of Anne Frank Scholarship is available to high school seniors who are leaders in their communities and have been accepted to a four – year college. The award recognizes students who exemplify the commitment, ideals, and courage that Anne Frank represents today.
