It’s that time again! You're heading back to school via remote learning or in person classes! Whether you’re in a public high school or your currently a college student, if you’re not quite sure how you’re going to pay for school now or in the future you should be thinking about financial aid — Scholarships can definitely help you pay for school. Find scholarships to help you head back to school without the worries of tuition looming over you. The following list includes scholarships with deadlines throughout the fall, so you can keep applying for awards all semester long. Students of all ages can apply now to qualify for some scholarship funding from these scholarship providers:

August Invite a Friend Sweepstakes

Award: $500
Deadline: 8/31/2020
Available to: Must be at least 13 The Fastweb Invite a Friend Sweepstakes is open to registered Fastweb members who are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, and who are at least thirteen (13) years of age. You must log into your Fastweb account to obtain your personal referral link. For each person who registers for Fastweb via your personal referral link during the Promotion Period, you and your referral will be entered as a pair into the monthly drawing.

$1,000 Easy Election Quiz: Back-to-School Edition

Deadline: 8/31/20
Available to: Minimum Age 14, Maximum Age 25
Award Amount: $1,000 You could win an easy $1,000 scholarship by taking our back-to-school themed online quiz to educate yourself on everything you need to know to vote in the upcoming elections as you return to the classroom, whether IRL or digitally. All you have to do is take our easy online quiz. It takes less than two minutes! You'll be entered to win a $1,000 scholarship. Only applicable to 18 to 25-year old students. Let's Do This.

Active Life Scholarship for Political Expression

Deadline: 8/31/2020
Available to: College Freshmen through College Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $1,000 The Active Life Scholarship for Political Expression is open to college, graduate and adult learners. You must submit a short statement on politics in order to be considered for this award.

FAB AID Contest

Deadline: 8/31/2020
Available to: College Juniors through College Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $100,000 The FAB AID Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States & the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec), who have graduated or will graduate from an accredited undergraduate 4-year university by 8/31/2020. In order to be considered for this award, you must have an Instagram account and be a follower of the First Aid Beauty (@firstaidbeauty) Instagram account. You must also upload a video (up to 2 minutes in length) and an optional short essay (up to 250 words) describing how student loans have impacted your life and what it would mean to you to have a future without student loan payments.

Health and Wellness Scholarship

Deadline: 8/31/2020
Available to: College Freshmen through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $2,500 The Health and Wellness Scholarship is available to students enrolled at an accredited college or university. You must have at least a 3.7 GPA and submit an essay of 800-1000 words, promoting a practical approach to healthy lifestyle during college years and how these habits can be sustained over a lifetime. Additionally, you must demonstrate detailed knowledge of health and wellness and discuss why healthy living is a lifetime endeavor to be eligible for this award.

Odd Dog Media Marketing Scholarship

Deadline: 9/08/2020
Available to: College Freshmen
Award Amount: $500
The Odd Dog Media Marketing Scholarship is available to full-time students attending an accredited university, community college, or high school students planning to attend university in the United States or Canada for the 2020-2021 school year. You must be pursuing (or plan to pursue) an undergraduate or graduate degree in a marketing-related field in order to be considered for this award.

Too Cool to Pay for School Scholarship

Deadline: 9/30/20
Available to: High School Juniors through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $1,000 The $1,000 Scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors, college students, and graduate school students. You must be currently enrolled in school or planning on enrolling within 24 months in order to be considered for this award. One entry per person is all that is necessary.

Don’t Text and Drive Scholarship

Deadline: 9/30/20
Available to: High School Freshmen through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $1,000 The Don't Text and Drive Scholarship is available to high school, undergraduate or graduate students. You must be U.S. citizen or legal resident and complete a short statement on why you pledge not to text and drive in order to qualify for this award.

Coca-Cola Scholars Program

Deadline: 10/31/20
Available to: High School Seniors through College Freshmen
Award Amount: $20,000 The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is open to high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree at an accredited post - secondary institution in the U.S. Home - schooled students may also apply.

Voice of Democracy Scholarship Competition

Deadline: 10/31/20
Available to: High School Freshmen through High School Seniors
Award Amount: $30,000 The Voice of Democracy Scholarship Competition is open to high school students. To enter, you must write and record a three - to five - minute broadcast script on the following theme: "Is This the Country the Founders Envisioned?"

SMART Scholarship

Deadline: 12/01/20
Available to: College Freshmen through College Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $25,000 - $38,000
The SMART (Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation) Scholarship is open to currently enrolled college and graduate students. You must be pursuing a technical degree in one of the 21 STEM disciplines, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be able to participate in summer internships and willing to accept post-graduate employment at the DoD in order to be considered for this award. Applicants must also be at least 18 years of age and be a resident of the United States, Canada, New Zealand, or United Kingdom.

PixelPlex STEM Scholarship

Deadline: 12/05/20
Available to:High School Seniors through College Seniors
Award Amount: $2,000 The PixelPlex STEM Scholarship is open to current students enrolled in a STEM, economics or business field. You must submit an essay of at least 800 words on one of the following topics in order to be considered for this award: "Blockchain: Focus on one industry or sector of your choice and describe how blockchain, in your opinion, will revolutionize it, and what existing problems will be solved within the next 3-5 years" or "Artificial Intelligence: Choose an industry or sector where the application of artificial intelligence might be uncommon, in your opinion, and describe which existing problems will be solved as a result".

Travel Is Education Scholarship

Deadline: 1/30/21
Available to: 18 & Under
Award Amount: 4 awards from $500-$1,000 The Travel Is Education Scholarship is open to U.S. students in grades 6 through 12. You must submit two-dimensional artwork, photos, or a writing (maximum one page) on the theme of "Becoming a Global Citizen". Sample topics are available on the Web site provided. You must be traveling on an ACIS tour between October 15, 2020 through October 14, 2021, in order to qualify for this award.

Create-a-Greeting Card Scholarship Contest

Deadline: 3/09/21
Available to: Minimum Age, 14
Award Amount: $10,000 The Create-A-Greeting Card Scholarship Contest is open to currently enrolled high school and college students in the United States. To enter, you must design a holiday, get well, or birthday greeting card and submit your work to be judged. Your photo, art, or graphics submitted must be your own original work and you must be at least 14 years of age to be eligible for this award.

Anna V. Waters Scholarship

Deadline: 4/19/2021
Available to: High School Seniors through College Freshmen
Award Amount : $500 - $2,000
The Anna V. Waters Scholarship is open to African American high school seniors planning to attend college, technical, or vocational school. You must have a GPA between 2.0 and 2.9 and demonstrate good character, commitment to your community and the potential to do well in college in order to be considered for this award.

American Legion National High School Oratorical Contest

Deadline: Varies
Available to: High School Freshmen through High School Senior
Award Amount : $1,500 - $3,000
The National High School Oratorical Contest is open to junior high and high school students who are under the age of 20 and citizens or lawful permanent residents of the United States. You must prepare an oration on some aspect of the U.S. Constitution, with some emphasis on the duties and obligations of citizens to our government. A complete list of topics are available on the Legion's Web site. Each individual state winner certified into and participating in the first round of the national contest receives an additional $1,500 scholarship.
