Description

The National Museum of Women in the Arts offers an Internship Program to undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in gaining first-hand experience in day-to-day museum operations. You must have completed your sophomore year in college, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be able to work either part- or full-time for 10 to 12 weeks. Participants work with museum professionals, meet other interns, learn about women artists in history and have access to the library and research center. Opportunities may be available in the following areas: accounting, administration, development, communications and marketing, curatorial, exhibition design and production, information technology, library and research center, member services, national programs, registrar, retail operations, and special events.
