Engineering Internship - City of Paso Robles

Description

The Engineering Internship is open to undergraduate and graduate students in engineering and related fields. Intern duties may include assisting staff with reviewing construction plans for compliance with engineering standards as well as other general level engineering work, performing research, compiling data, and preparing reports related to traffic, city infrastructure, community-wide data, special projects, and other key areas within the Engineering Division, assisting staff in the collection of data and preparation of staff reports, presentations, application forms, and public notifications, performing site visits to collect information and assist in onsite construction decisions, creating, updating, and maintaining files and databases of records, and other duties as necessary. You must have knowledge of the basic principles of and practices of engineering, city engineering standards, various computer applications, record keeping principles, and concepts of civil and traffic engineering in order to be considered for this internship.
