GLBT Historical Society Archives Internship

Description

The GLBT Historical Society Archives Internship is available to graduate students who are majoring in library and information sciences or related fields. The GLBT Historical Society collects, preserves, exhibits and makes accessible to the public materials and knowledge to support and promote understanding of LGBTQ history, culture and arts in all their diversity. As an intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in an LGBTQ community-based archive. You will gain knowledge in standard archival practices such as collection processing, cataloging, and digitization. A small stipend and college credit may be available. This opportunity is located in San Francisco, CA.
