The Oculus Research Scientist Camera And Display Perception Internship is available to students pursuing a PhD in color science, imaging science, optics, image processing, or a related field. You must be authorized to work in the U.S., have experience in programming (Matlab or Python), and have prior experiences in color science, human perception research, or image quality metrics to be considered for this internship. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with camera image ISP/architecture and with user study, human perception, and psychophysics experiment design. As an intern, you will develop and research new technology/metrics to assist AR/VR camera/display product development and design psychophysical experiments/user studies to validate the performance of the technology/metrics. This internship is located in Sunnyvale, CA. Average monthly compensation for a Meta Intern is $8,000.
