Description
The YES! Teen Internship Program is available to students currently enrolled in grades 9-11 in the Washington, DC, area who are interested in science or cultural studies as a potential career path. You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and in good academic standing to be eligible for this internship. As an intern, you will gain practical experience through a hands-on science internship with Smithsonian science staff through behind-the-scenes tours and field trips, creative studio workshops, college preparatory classes, and the opportunity to create your own TED-type talks.
