The VPM News/Digital News Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in journalism, broadcast journalism, communications, or related fields. Recent college graduates are also eligible. To be considered for this role, you should be familiar with Microsoft Office and Google Suite. As an intern, your duties may include covering news events, writing/recording stories for newscasts and web, recording/editing community events/speeches/roundtables, performing video/audio production assistance, drafting social media posts, creating visualizations to accompany reporting, producing digital videos and/or photography, shadowing reporters, and conducting interviews for audio or video stories. This internship is offered in the Richmond, VA, area.
