The Sierra Club Stop Pre-harvest Sugarcane Field Burning Campaign Internship is available to candidates who want to learn more about campaign organizing. To be considered for this role, you should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, and be interested in data management. As an intern, you will assist the campaign during the pre-harvest sugar field burning season to build Stop the Burn-Go Green Campaign grassroots engagement and power in Western Palm Beach and Hendry counties in Florida, and collect critical information needed to end the toxic, discriminatory, and outdated practice of pre-harvest sugarcane field burning and transition to burn-free green harvesting.
