The Raftelis Leadership Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in business, finance, communications, public affairs, economics, marketing, government relations, and related fields. You must have an interest in becoming a problem solver for local governments and municipal water utilities to be eligible for this award. Selected recipients may also receive mentorship and an internship.

The Driven Coffee Scholarship is available to undergraduate students in the U.S. and Canada. To be considered, you must submit three short essays, including the following: "If you could have coffee with any person - dead or alive - who would you pick? Why? What would you discuss?"

The Financial Goals Scholarship is available to students who are 18 years of age or older. To be considered, you must submit a 500 - word essay on the following topic: "Tell us about a financial goal that you have. Explain why you want to achieve this goal and how you plan to do so."

The Elie Wiesel Prize In Ethics Essay Contest is open to full - time college juniors and seniors. To be considered, you must articulate with clarity an ethical issue that you have encountered, and analyze what it has taught you about ethics and yourself. You may write about any topic you wish, as long as it explores the theme of ethics.

The Technology Addiction Awareness Scholarship is available to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students. To be considered, you must submit a 140 - character statement that completes the following sentence: "Instead of spending time with technology, I'd rather..."

The Union Plus Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students. You must be a current or retired member of a participating union, or the spouse or dependent child of a member to be eligible for this award.

The $2,000 Minecraft Scholarship is open to high school and college students. You must be a U.S. citizen, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and submit an essay of at least 500 words that details your opinion on how Minecraft can be a positive influence on education and career development in order to be considered for this award.

The Future Educator Scholarship is available to incoming and current undergraduate and graduate students. You must be pursuing a degree in education to be eligible for this award.

Award Amount: $1,500 - $25,000
The National High School Oratorical Contest is open to junior high and high school students who are under the age of 20 and are citizens or lawful permanent residents of the United States. To be considered, you must prepare an oration on some aspect of the U.S. Constitution, with emphasis on a citizen's duties and obligations to our government. A complete list of topics are available on the Legion's Web site. Each individual state winner certified into and participating in the first round of the national contest receives a $2,000 scholarship.
