Sauk Valley Community College (SVCC) is a community college in Dixon, Illinois. Whilst technically in Dixon it is closer to the city limits of Sterling, Illinois.
SVCC was built on the Rock River between the cities of Sterling and Dixon, Illinois. The Sauk Valley Community College is located on historic Illinois Route 2, and the college has a student body of about 5,000 full and part-time students each semester. Points of interest around SVCC include: Birthplace of Ronald Reagan, Boyhood home of Ronald Reagan, John Deere Historic Site, Dillon Home Museum, and the Lincoln Statue.
