Description
The Minority Teachers of Illinois Scholarship is available to Illinois residents who are planning to become preschool, elementary or secondary school teachers. To be considered for this award, you must be a high school graduate or hold a GED and be of African- American/ Black, Hispanic- American, Asian- American or Native American origin. You must plan to enroll in a Teacher Education Program at an approved Illinois institution of higher education, maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5, and teach in Illinois upon the completion of your education.
