Description
The Albar and Englantina Pena Memorial Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Texas, San Antonio. You must be an undergraduate student pursuing certification as a bilingual education teacher, or a graduate student pursing a master's degree in bicultural- bilingual studies with concentration in bilingual teacher education or bicultural studies to be eligible for this award. Additionally, you must be a member of the Bilingual Education Student Organization (BESO) in good standing, demonstrate financial need, and have language proficiency in Spanish and English.
