Description
The Pre-Nursing Scholarship is available to California residents who are currently enrolled in a pre-nursing program. To be eligible for this award, you must be a full- or part-time student (no less than six units) at an accredited California school, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and agree to complete a one-year service obligation to practice in a medically underserved area of California as an RN providing direct patient care upon completion of an associate degree in nursing. Additionally, you must be attending school in one of the Central Valley counties: Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced and Tulare.
