American Electric Power Scholarship - ASME

Description

The American Electric Power Scholarship is open to juniors and seniors majoring in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology. You must be an American Society of Mechanical Engineers student member, and be enrolled in an ABET accredited, or substantially equivalent baccalaureate program to be considered for this award. You must also demonstrate superior academic performance and the potential to contribute to the mechanical engineering profession. Preference will be given to students who are interested in power engineering or who reside or attend school in the American Electric Power service area of Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or West Virginia.
