Description
The David R. Layman Scholarship is open to full-time entering freshman students at Northern Illinois University. You must be majoring in biology with the desire to teach biology at the high school level, be a graduate of a public high school (preferably a Chicago school, especially Schurz or Crane), and have a minimum 2.0 overall GPA and a minimum 2.5 biology major GPA to be eligible for this award. Preference is given to students with financial need.
