Description
The Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation Scholarship is available to residents of Hawai'i. To be eligible for this award, you must be nominated by a school or athletic official, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and have competed in competitive sports. Also, you must be an American citizen and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award. Additionally, you must plan to attend an accredited school as a full-time student and submit three letters of recommendation (two from the school you are attending at the time of your application and one from an athletic coach or trainer), a personal letter of intention, a list of competitive sports and awards, a federal tax return and your most recent transcript of grades.
