The Pre-Law Summer Institute for American Indians and Alaska Natives is open to any American Indian or Alaska Native who plans to attend law school. This summer program is designed to prepare students for law study, and financial aid is available. You must submit the following items along with your application: personal statement, proof of membership in a state- or federally-recognized tribe (if you are not enrolled, but have a blood quantum of 1/4 or more, please provide documentation), certificate of degree of Indian blood (CDIB), copy of LSDAS Master Law School Report, and proof of application to an ABA-accredited law school. Two letters of recommendation are also required.
