Description
The Dr. Mary Goddard Steck Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a junior, senior, or graduate female, (preferably a graduate), majoring in the Department of Botany. The financial need of the student will be an important factor in the selection process. The recipient must have maintained a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale during her undergraduate studies or during her graduate studies, whichever may apply. The recipient must be a native of southern Illinois and of one of the 13 counties as follows: Perry, Franklin, Saline, Gallatin, Jackson, Williamson, Union, Johnson, Polk, Hardin, Alexander, Pulaski, and Massac.
