Description
The Georgia Mining Foundation Scholarship is available to Georgia high school seniors who have been accepted for admission at accredited colleges and universities in Georgia. You must have a minimum 960 SAT score or 18 ACT score and a minimum 85 percent average and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award. You also must have completed four years of college preparatory English, three years of history plus social sciences and five of the following math and science courses: algebra I, algebra II, geometry, physical science, biology and chemistry. An essay and faculty recommendation are required.
