James V. Day Scholarship

Description

The James V. Day Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are residents of Maine and are enrolled or attending an accredited college or vocational school. You must be a resident of Maine and the child or grandchild of a current member of an American Legion Post in Maine to be considered for this award. You must also demonstrate financial need, good character, a belief in the American way of life and be a U.S. citizen to qualify. Letters of recommendation and an essay will be required.
