Description
The AAVFD Scholarship is available to Alabama volunteer firefighters, their spouses, and dependent sons and daughters. To be eligible, you (or your spouse or parent) must be a current active member of a AAVFD-certified volunteer department for a minimum three consecutive years. You must also be a graduating high school senior or high school graduate who has maintained at least a "C" average. This award is also available to spouses and dependent children of fallen volunteer firefighters whose deaths were in the line of duty.
