Description
The Service League Volunteer Scholarship is available to full-time students pursuing studies in health-related fields. You must be a resident of the Washington Hospital District (which includes Fremont, Newark, Union City, parts of Hayward, and unincorporated Sunol), have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be 22 years of age or younger as of December 31 of the award year, and have accrued at least 100 hours of volunteer service or work in a health-related field to be eligible for this award. Three letters of recommendation and U.S. citizenship are also required.
