Description
The Indian Health Service Health Professions Preparatory Scholarship is available to American Indians and Alaskan Natives (from federally-recognized tribes only) who are enrolled or accepted for enrollment in courses that will prepare them for acceptance into health professions schools. You must major in: pre-nursing, pre-medical technology, pre-pharmacy, pre-dietetics, pre-social work, pre-physical therapy, or pre-engineering to be eligible for this award. You must also be a high school graduate (or equivalent) and intend to serve Indian people upon completion of professional health care education.
