Description
The John Leland Atwood Graduate Award is open to M.S., M.A., or Ph.D. students pursuing space-based research at an accredited college or university. You must be actively participating in research endeavors in one of the more than 65 specialty areas represented by AIAA Technical Committees and have completed at least one academic year of full-time graduate college work with a minimum 3.3 GPA to qualify. You need not be an AIAA student member in good standing to apply for this award, but you must become one before receiving a scholarship. You must submit a research plan, an essay describing your career objectives, and three letters of recommendation to be considered for this award.
