Description
The Jeanne H. Hemmingway Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors. You must be planning to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth and be a resident of Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake or St. Louis Counties in Minnesota, or Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas, Iron or Price Counties in Wisconsin. You must also have significant financial need, can show academic progress in high school and demonstrate overcoming adversity such as abuse, homelessness, participation in alternative education, language issues, chemical dependence, medical issues or caregiving responsibilities in order to be considered for this award.
