The Freshman Presidential and Provost's Scholarships are available to incoming freshman students at SUNY - Stony Brook. High school academic program, SAT/ACT scores, cocurricular activities, research experiences, or special talents or skills are also taken into account. New York residents will receive the Presidential Scholarship; out-of-state students will receive the Provost's Scholarship.
