Carville M. Akehurst Memorial Scholarship

Description

The Carville M. Akehurst Memorial Scholarship is available to students enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate landscape/horticulture program or related discipline at a two- or four-year institution. You must be a resident of Maryland, Virginia or West Virginia and have a minimum 2.7 overall GPA and a minimum 3.0 GPA in your major. You must also have at least junior standing in a four-year curriculum or senior standing in a two-year curriculum to be eligible for this award. Preference will be given to applicants who plan to work within the industry following graduation.
