The M. Gene Newport Business Scholarship Endowment is available to full- time entering freshmen and transfer students at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. You must be enrolled in the School of Business to be eligible for this award. You must complete a minimum of 27 hours in one academic year and maintain a 3.0 GPA. This award is renewable for up to three consecutive years.
