Description
The Opportunity Award is open to first - time freshmen who are residents of and plan to attend school in Louisiana. You must enter your first freshmen semester within one year of graduating from high school. In addition, you must have either a minimum 2.5 GPA and a minimum 20 ACT score or a minimum 23 ACT score in lieu of the GPA requirement. This award is renewable for four years provided you maintain a GPA of at least 2.3 after your first semester and 2.5 thereafter.
