Description
The Rear Admiral John D. Hayes Pre-doctoral Fellowship in U.S. Naval History is open to graduate students who are writing their dissertation topic on any period of United States naval history or any aspect of United States naval history. You must be a United States citizen and be enrolled in a recognized graduate school. Additionally, you must have completed requirements for the Ph.D. except the dissertation by June 30, 2009, and have an approved dissertation topic in the field of U.S. naval history to be eligible for this award.
