The William H. Gates Public Service Law Scholarship is available to students who have a strong interest in public service entering the University of Washington, School of Law. You must submit two letters of recommendation, an essay of no more than 700 words, a personal statement and a resume of your public service experience to be eligible for this award. Selection is based on your personal commitment to public interest work, essay, overall academic/ professional potential, character and financial need.
