The Sara Shafer Cosmetology Scholarship is available to full-time students at Big Sandy Community and Technical College. You must be entering your third semester in the cosmetology program with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a 90 percent attendance record. Also, you must be a resident of the Big Sandy service area to be eligible for this award.
