Surviving and Moving Forward (SAMFund) Financial Assistance Grant

Description

The Surviving and Moving Forward (SAMFund) Financial Assistance Grant is available to U.S. residents between 21-39 years old who have completed cancer treatment. You must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible for this award: Complete Response/Remission or No Evidence of Disease (NED), Partial Response or Stable Disease and 1 year passed active treatment, or Long-term hormonal therapy (such as Tamoxifen), long-term targeted molecular therapy (such as Gleevac or Herceptin), and immunotherapy are accepted as long as one of the above remission criteria is met. This grant can be used for numerous financial expenses, including graduate school and continuing education.
