Description

The CHS Emergency Fund is available to full-time students at Virginia Commonwealth University with unexpected emergency expenses that may derail a student’s progress toward a degree. Priority will be given to students whose tenure at the university may be at risk due to an emergency situation. This award can be used to cover expenses such as academic supplies, safety needs, medications related to emergency care, emergency childcare costs, replacement of essential personal belongings or temporary housing needs, and replacement of essential personal belongings or emergency housing needs, due to fire, theft or natural disaster. Funds cannot be used towards tuition or fees.
