IEA National Sportsmanship Award

Description

The IEA National Sportsmanship Award is available to high school students who are active members of the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) who have a minimum GPA of 3.0. To be eligible for this award, you must have earned a Sportsmanship Award at a local, regional or zone IEA show during the school year. Selection is also based on a personal resume, a 250-word essay that explains how horses and/or equestrian competitions have influenced your life, and three recommendations: one from an equine professional, one from a teacher or school advisor and one from an additional person of your choice.
