The Cancer Research Experience for Undergraduates is available to undergraduate students at the University Of Colorado-Anschutz Medical Campus. You must be a U.S. citizen/permanent resident to be eligible for this fellowship. The goal of the program is to engage scientific curiosity in the next generation of scientists, challenging qualified college undergraduates to consider a cancer-related career in the future. Fellows spend 10 weeks at campus laboratories, receive mentorship, and participate in clinical and translational workshops to learn about personalized medicine/ molecular diagnostics, cancer genomics /bioinformatics, and experimental therapeutics/emerging technologies.
